Basic Rigging
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a one-day course that provides participants with a basic understanding of types of rigging, fundamentals of rigging, and their lift capacities. This course provides hands-on demonstrations of actual lifts and is recommended for anyone working directly with or taking part in a lift. It’s also recommended as a refresher for someone knowledgeable with rigging, such as a crane operator.

Construction Rigging
COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Construction Rigging course is for individuals who work directly with rigging in the construction field. Advanced rigging methods, capacities, use, and lifts are taught to the student. This course provides hands-on demonstrations in identifying faulty hardware, and the second day will consist of performing various exercises that simulate real-world rigging situations. Students are broken up into groups and will rotate amongst the workstations. The lifts are directly supervised by the OETIM instructor.
