TELEHANDLER OPERATOR TRAINING
(CLASS VII POWER LIFT TRUCK TRAINING)
COURSE DESCRIPTION: OETIM offers a variety of certification courses that meet all the requirements of CSA Safety Standard for Lift Trucks (B335) as well as Manitoba’s Code of Practice for the Safe Operation of Powered Lift Trucks.
The use of forklifts on construction sites is very common. As such an accessible piece of equipment, there is potential for misuse resulting in accidents by inadequately trained workers who may not recognize potential hazards. However, used by well-trained worker these machines are a safe and efficient method of moving materials and placing them in otherwise inaccessible locations.
The program material is designed to provide participants with knowledge on the hazards and safe use of forklifts. The course consists of theory taken in a classroom setting and practical training inside of a telehandler lift truck.
TELEHANDLER OPERATOR TRAINING
COURSE DESCRIPTION: The telehandler course provides new operators with an entry-level understanding of the safe and efficient operation of a Class VII forklift. The course consists of classroom learning and hands-on training using industry-standard equipment.

CERTIFICATE EXPIRY: 3 Years from Date of Completion

TELEHANDLER OPERATOR RECERTIFICATION
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This Recertification course provides established operators with a refresher of the safe and efficient operation of a Class VII forklift. This course is only available to individuals who completed the two-day Telehandler Operator Training with OETIM.
ELIGIBILITY: Must have completed the two-day telehandler course. Holding a current ticket that has not exceeded the one-year expiration date.
LENGTH: 1-2-Hours including an Online refresher and an in-person assessment by a certified instructor.

CERTIFICATE EXPIRY: 3 Years from Date of Completion
COST: $250.00 per individual
