OETIM has been very busy this spring, and so has our mini-excavator! We have had the pleasure of attending several tradeshows and career fairs to showcase who we are and what we do in Manitoba.

This season, we attended key events such as the Unlocking the Toolkit event (hosted by Manitoba Women in Construction, Winnipeg Construction Association, and Women and Gender Equity Manitoba) on April 24^th, the Construction Career Expo on May 8^th, and the Future Now Expo on May 28^th-29^th. At each event, OETIM staff manned our interactive booth offering hands-on experience and information about our programming to attendees of all ages.

Additionally, OETIM Executive Director, Jordan James, brought the mini-excavator to the Middle School Career Days at École Hedges and Bruce Middle School, to the delight of many eager students.

We would like to thank all these organizations and schools for giving us the opportunity to continue to showcase why we are the province’s longest-running Heavy Equipment Operator institute.
