Ground Disturbance Training Course
Take this 6-hour E-Learning computer course from the conveyance of your home or in our classroom setting. Our computerized Ground Disturbance Hazard Awareness Training Course is designed to make employees aware of the potential risks involved with digging below ground (or disturbing) soil, gravel, etc.
Unmarked infrastructure can pose serious danger, and students learn the necessary steps to minimize risk. Ground Disturbance training follows through the pre-planning stage to the actual dig, and highlights both mandatory and recommended practices. Participants are taught what defines a ground disturbance, when and why common hits occur, the reason for maintaining a code of practice, and about different types of potential exposure.
They also learn how to clarify sources when searching for underground facilities, how to provide notification to the facility owner, and how to receive owner notification.
